Four CraveOnline Team Members Break Guinness World Record for ‘Longest Video Games Marathon Playing a Fighting Game’ at the Non-Stop NOS Gaming Lounge

LOS ANGELES, CA JUNE 9, 2011 –Evolve Media Corp.’s CraveOnline (www.craveonline.com), one of the fastest growing next-generation male lifestyle sites, and NOS®Energy Drink announced today that Cristopher Bryant, Paul Chillino, Melissa Estuesta, and Lance Moose have broken the Guinness World Record for ‘longest video games marathon playing a fighting game’ by playing 32 hours.  The record breaking victory took place at the CraveOnline Non-Stop NOS Gaming Lounge outside of the Los Angeles Convention Center during the E3 Expo. Guinness World Record Adjucators were on hand to monitor the gamers and presented them with an official certificate announcing the breaking of the world record.

CraveOnline’s Non-Stop NOS Gaming Lounge allowed E3 goers to witness the CraveOnline team members fight for the record by playing Mortal Kombat on PS3. Visitors were able to play alongside the CraveOnline gaming team on two other screens/consoles in the lounge. The Non-Stop DJ was there spinning tunes throughout the competition while NOS Models fueled the gamers and visitors with NOS samples. In order to break the previous record, the gamers had to play a total or 31 hours straight. They were each allowed ten minute breaks every hour.

The hub housed information about the world record attempt, the latest videos and photos from the event, nonstop-gaming features and guides. Online fans were able to interact with the Non-Stop Gaming Lounge attendees and gamers by Tweeting a NOS Shout or a NOS Boost that the NOS host then relayed to the gamers therefore encouraging and fueling them to break the record.
